Constructing projects like these comes in several stages; the entire project has to be carefully planned before our formworking team come in and set up. Timber formwork effectively becomes an in-situ mould to pour the concrete into and creating numerous creative possibilities. Once the formwork is in place, thick steel cables are fixed throughout the mould-space, before concrete is poured in. Once the concrete has completely dried the formwork is removed and you have a perfect reinforced concrete staircase, wall or bridge fixed very securely in place.

Classically a trade for the commercial and public sector, we often work for private individuals. Sometimes we’ve worked for people in the public eye wanting ambitious landscaping, but most often we work with homeowners simply wanting a new basement that they can rely on to be safe, solid and watertight.
